The Last Supper

==================

"Come Eat Of My Bread, And Drink Of The Wine Which I Have Mingled"
Greetings Everyone,

Let us travel back in time to the Last Supper.

"And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."

"And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink ye all of it;

"For this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."

But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom." (Matt. 26:26-29).

No covenant could be made without shedding of blood (Ex. 24:8; Heb. 9:20); and no remission of sins without it (Lev. 17:11). The new testament is the New Covenant spoken of in Jer. 31:31.

"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:" (Jeremiah 31:31). "But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall by My people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord:' for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." (Jer. 31:33,34).

Do you see this time of times today? Do you think that God can not do it... as it is written...? do you think we need to rely on man and man's denominations for this result. This is a time that is future. Therefore that which the Lord was speaking of at the Last Supper goes future to that day. It was not then and it is not now. This will take place after the gatherings and after death has been eliminated and Satan is no more.

When Christ says He will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day... it means what it says. Everyone who participates in this ritual of communion is doing so without Christ. Christ's body is not the wafer at communion and His body is not in the wafer at communion. This communion ritual today is a man-made ordinance.

=================

Now let us go to Mark: "John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach (proclaimed) the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins." (Mark 1:4). The baptism (a work) of repentance is confession "repent ye"... this was the call of all the prophets. After John was sent to prison, Christ came forth also proclaiming the gospel What gospel? "the kingdom of God is at hand:" (Mark 1:15). And Christ proclaiming also: "repent ye, and believe the gospel." (Mark 1:15). Repentance is a turning of one's whole being. This is a work that they did during Christ's ministry. These works were called the "fruits worthy for repentance." (Luke 3:8). They had to be water baptised... this was the washing of the outer garment. They had to believe the gospel and physically turn from their sinful ways. A work is something that they do not the Spirit of God in them doing the work. The Spirit was not received until after Christ ascended into the heavens.

The "Kingdom" which was proclaimed did begin BUT did not continue because it required the whole house of Israel and Judah to come to repentance which they did not do. The prophecy of Jer. is future. The proclaiming of this Kingdom is at hand will be done by Elijah in a future time. The Spirit will be given to ALL the people of the Kingdom and ALL will know God. When the "Kingdom" is restored, then Christ will drink of this fruit of the vine. Will become one body with this work that Israel will do. Christ will not drink of this fruit of the vine until the Kingdom is restored.

This "Last Supper" has nothing to do with you today. The "new covenant" has nothing to do with you today. To be water baptised and you with your works of changing your whole being so that you can receive the Holy Spirit has nothing to do with you today. When that day comes ALL will be washed in the water. All will believe the message proclaimed. All will physically repent and turn from sin. And the Holy Spirit will come down from the heavens and clothe each and everyone as though they were one being. All will know God and not one man will have to teach another. This is the "fruit of the Vine" that Christ will drink with the apostles in "My Father's Kingdom". This is not literal wine... this is a people that will become united with His body. And guess who His body is?

This is the gathering that is going on today from the time the Apostle Paul was sent out with the gospel message given him (Rom. 16:25; Gal. 1:11,12; 1 Cor. 15:1-5). In order for something to take place in the gatherings (either of the bride i.e. Israel or the body i.e. neither Jew nor Gentile) one must hear and believe the proclaimed message. The gathering of the bride is physical and is an earthly manifestation. And man must do the works... he must be water baptised, he must turn in order to receive the Holy Spirit. This gathering today is not by any working of your own. You in the flesh are not capable of pleasing God... nor can you turn as a work. God can not make it any more simple than what He has done. Today when you hear the gospel message and believe, you are "sealed" with that holy Spirit of promise is the earnest of our inheritance" (Eph. 1:13,14). Your home is not the "Kingdom" on the earth but your home is in the "body of Christ" in the heavenlies. Those who are sealed will be gathered as one body and will stand with Christ the Head of the body on that day when Elijah once again proclaims to the Nation of Israel "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." We will not come with Christ (the Messiah) until the whole nation of Israel believes and repents.

The gathering today is a special gathering, a special calling out from the Jews and the Gentiles. Can God do this? Can God present something new not known to man before?... that is not part of prophecy? Sure He can. He said it and He will do it. "I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of My mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass." (Isa. 48:3). "I have shewed thee new things from this time even hidden things, and thou didst not know them. They are CREATED NOW, and NOT FROM THE BEGINNING; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, 'Behold, I knew them.' (Isa. 48:6,7).

The mystery revealed to Paul (Eph. 3:1-3) was that which was hidden and not known, and it can not be said that any man before him knew these things. Man naturally relies on that which he can see... therefore he searches the Scripture to find this new thing (the mystery) in the Old Testament.... but it is not there. You have to rely completely on faith in this matter... that the words of Paul are the words and the commandment of God. The people of Israel at the coming of John the Baptist knew the OT Scripture, the prophecy and saw it before their very eyes unfold and did not believe. They saw John the Baptist, the forerunner, they saw Christ the Messiah, they saw His works... the OT Scriptures were being fulfilled before their very eyes and what happened? The Kingdom and the Messiah were rejected. God will deal with His people Israel in a future time but not now.

Today the body of Christ is being gathered. There is nothing in prophecy about you. It is by God's grace, that you have become part of God's heavenly kingdom. The heavenly kingdom is being offered today NOT the earthly kingdom. You are being dwelt with in the spirit not the flesh. Flesh and blood can not enter God's Kingdom. If you rely on the flesh for anything you are relying on sight NOT faith.

The water baptism going on today is the flesh in participation. What flesh have you when you died with Christ and were raised with Him? You are allowing the flesh to partake in something when it is non-existant in the eyes of God. Anything you are doing in your flesh, to stand better before the Lord, is your doing not His and it is your work not His. He is Spirit. Communion is the same thing. Why do you partake in communion? Do you see those in the spirit partaking of communion? Your communion is the Holy Spirit that which can not be seen remember. Faith is in opposition to sight. You are not "sealed" if you are doing anything yourself to obtain favor in the eyes of God. Those who say they believe in Eph. 1:7 for salvation, but still partake in the flesh did not believe. Many who say they are in the body of Christ are not... their mouth can say anything.

Let us now go to 1 Cor. 1:24: "But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Christ was speaking as the wisdom of God at the Last Supper. Look at these words and find understanding.

"Wisdom hath builded her house, She hath hewn out her seven pillars: She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; She hath also furnished her table. She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth Upon the highest places of the city, Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,

Come, eat of my bread, And drink of the wine which I have mingled. Forsake the foolish, and live; And go in the way of understanding." (Prov. 9:1-5).

Wisdom here is plural = Heb. chokmah (vs. 1:20; 9:1; and 14:1). Her maidens in the NT the invitation was carried by menservants (Matt. 22:3; Luke 14:7).

If you are in Christ and Christ is in you... you have partaken of the Last Supper and will not again drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when Christ will gather His bride Israel.

God Bless,
Eve
