The ministry of the Spirit is glorious

==================

The ministry of the Spirit is glorious.

To All,

God is God whether he is called Elohim, YHVH, or Christ.. but there is a reason why certain names are written... and even though God is the Covenant Maker and the Creator and Redeemer... He chose a specific Name for Himself as One (operation) and a specific Name for Himself as another operation. Same thing I see also pertaining to the "Good News" Gospel messages that are also presented in the Bible. One "Good News" Message is called one thing for a specific purpose and another "Good News" Message is given for another specific purpose.. if they were meant to be together... then the name of the Gospel and the Message of the Gospel should have remained the same. Yes, All is "Good News" that which is given by God. All Names even though there are many -- are all One God.

The Gospel message presented in the Bible for today is of the "Good News" of the Grace of God. (Acts 20:24). There is a Remnant according to the Election of Grace (Romans 11:5) See also verse Romans 9:11. There was a Holy Calling made according to God's Purpose and Grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began (2 Timothy 1:9). Is this Grace His Son? The New Testament makes it clear that salvation is from first to last by His Grace... and it also clearly states men may abuse or refuse the Grace which is offered. (Jude 1:4 and Gal. 5:4). Whether Christ be Messiah and King never crucified... or crucified and then King according to the Scriptures... He is the Grace of God. This is why those before His crucifixion could have been saved by the provisions God gave.... because the Grace of God is God's love and redemptive plan. His Word (Christ) is and establishes All Things.

John the Baptist's repent and be baptized message washed Israel's sins of the flesh only... they were made clean to receive the Messiah... to believe in Him who God sent, Who would raise them up on the Last Day.. no more no less... and this was the Kingdom Gospel message that Israel did not accept. And this is what John 6 was about. After Christ's death, the resurrection of Him was also part of this message as a sign Israel could be raised also on the Last Day... and three times they rejected the message. Even the dead rose out of their tombs in the ending verses of Matthew... but still this "Good News" Gospel message was rejected. The Holy Spirit was given and even though the Gentiles believed the Jews needed to believe in order for their King (the Messiah) to return to them. Christ blood is not an issue here but rather Christ Himself... This is the Kingdom Gospel given no more no less according to OT prophecy. Jews first and also Gentiles. (In Acts 2:1-3) the Holy Spirit was given).

The blindness of Israel until "the fulness of Gentiles" could come in is a mystery that was revealed by Paul (Romans 11:25)... because God gave it to him to reveal. The mystery of the blood of Christ was another mystery given to Paul by God. *(Ephesians 1:1-9 (9)). The mystery: In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins (transgressions), according to the riches of His grace,... Having made known unto us the mystery of His will (Ephesians 1:7,9). Paul received revelation so that when the Kingdom age came to a close... a new age would come in strictly on Grace alone nothing else. Every mystery, every revelation, every Word of God that was revealed and written beginning with Paul's writings, as one called first by God to reveal this message -- was filled with God's Grace. The Gospel for today is called the Gospel of the Grace of God. It is God's Plan whether you call it the dispensation of or an age of or administration of... whatever helps you to understand (Ephesians 1:10). This was given to the Jews and Gentiles and there were to be no distinction between them nor male or female etc in Christ... (Galatians 3:28) ) There is a REMNANT according to the Election of Grace (Romans 11:5) who is being saved by this message and this too is also a mystery revealed by Paul to us by that which was given him by God. This REMNANT is called "the body of Christ" and the only way you get in is through the Gospel of the Grace of God... with no works added. If works are added then it is not by God's Grace. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. (Romans 11:25)... the Kingdom Gospel was repent and be baptized.

Please allow me to explain one more thing to -- so this is not a stumbling block.

Romans 16:25 Now to Him That is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

Romans 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith.

Prophets means prophetic writings (Gr. graphe prophetikos)... the term meaning Gr: prophetitkos used only here and 2 Peter 1:19. As you can see this is not prophecy of the Old Testament being fulfilled. This is a mystery (given Paul by revelation)... given through Peter's explanation of what that means: "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn and the day star arise in your heart: (2 Peter 1:19). Remember Prophecy was one of the Gifts given by the Holy Spirit. They spoke how the Spirit moved them to speak. We are to take heed of the importants of these new revelations that they are not distorted. Peter says concerning these things even further in his letter: ... even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom (God's wisdom) given unto him (through revelation), hath written unto you; As also in ALL HIS EPISTLES, speaking in them of THESE THINGS; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. (2 Peter 3:15,16).

If some of you think most certainly Peter knew of the revelation given Paul before Paul, then go to Galatians.

Paul speaking: Then after three years (three years after his conversion) I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter (Cephas), and abode with him fifteen days. (Galatians 1:18). Later in Galatians: And when James (the Lord's brother), Cephas (Peter), and John (the Apostle), who seemed to be pillars (teachers of the Law), perceived the grace that was given unto me (Paul), they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship, that we should go unto the heathen (Gentiles) and they unto the circumcision (Jews). (Galatians 2:9). Then staying in Galatians: Paul before them all publically addresses Peter because he was not walking uprightly according to the truth of the Gospel given him (Paul). (Galatians 2:14). Now you would think Peter would have at that point known more or given more than Paul being an Apostle of Christ.. but Scripture shows otherwise... and for a reason -- so that we... would know Paul is indeed the one sent by God to teach the Gentiles or the heathen... or the uncircumcised. As you continue in Scripture you will find what the big problem was -- as is a problem also today. Peter was preaching that man needed to seek Christ (by the faith of) to be justified by the works of the law. And Paul said no: "But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners (falling aside of truth)." Meaning Christ is the minister of sin (thought, word and deed). (Galatians 2:16,17).

Now let us go to this Scripture: All Scripture given by inspiration of God, is also profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Timothy 3:16).

Christ said the Spirit will teach us all things (John 14:26). The ministry of the Spirit is glorious. (2 Corinthians 3:8). And we are not to grieve the Spirit or reject the power thereof nor condemn that which is given to a brother or a sister, which may be given to edify and build. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (2 Corinthians 3:17). We have a treasure in our earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God... (2 Corinthians 4:7)... Quench not the Spirit; Despise not prophesyings; (1 Thessalonians 5:20)... The Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. (Ephesians 1:17).

God Bless,
Eve
